It’s not my lifestyle or personality to have a “typical” day, but this is pretty classic for me. This breakfast is a wonder whip made with 8 oz. plain Greek yogurt and 1 scoop of chocolate @shakeology, aka the most filling breakfast ever. With over 30g of protein and 6g of fiber, this is my go-to especially if I’m post workout and I know I will have a later lunch. I use strawberries for dipping and it’s incredibly satisfying. For lunch, here I have a large bed of spinach (about 2-3 cups) topped with leftover Sexy Slaw (recipe video on my feed), some leftover sweet potato rounds and a reheated protein burger. Snack is optional depending on the timing of meals and what else is going on in the day. Mid afternoon I usually start with catching up on my water, and make a quick almond milk tea latte. If I’m hungry I’ll try to grab some snackable veggies like cherry tomatoes and something lean, smart, and nutritious like an 1/8th cup of barukas. Dinner is salmon at least 1-2 times a week. Here I cooked it in the oven with teriyaki sauce and pair it with a variety of veggies. I like to have at least 2 veggie options at dinner. The more color, texture, flavor and variety, the better I feel. If I didn’t have my snack, my dinner portions of veggies and protein would likely be larger.
