“I’m eating healthy every day but I’m not losing weight!” You can eat the healthiest, most nutrient-dense foods in the world, but in the end… it all comes down to your DAILY CALORIE INTAKE.
Nuts are filled with healthy fats and micronutrients, but are also SUPER dense in calories. It’s hard to feel full/satisfied after eating only a serving of nuts. I use a food scale to measure out high-fat foods like this because I like to be mindful of how much I am eating, especially when I’m dieting.
🥜As this picture shows, it’s so easy to just grab a handful of nuts and assume it’s “x” amount of calories but with high calorie foods like this, this picture shows there can be nearly a 200 calories difference.. which weekly can amount to a significant calorie surplus aka weight gain.
